Then the channel explosion came about and the truth couldn’t be hidden anymore. Mollywood didn’t shy away either and showcased it, especially with the advent of young film-makers who brought with them fresh and bold approaches in scripts and storylines.
The list of films portraying adultery and the other woman angle in the recent past are Traffic, City Of God, Cocktail, Happy Husbands and now Unnam.
Even though it has been around for years adultery has suddenly become fashionable or at the very least more open.
