  • senior4Senior online dating sites offer many features which provide you with increased opportunity to find your perfect match.

You can access senior online dating sites if you’re aged 40 years or older and over, single and looking for new companions or that special someone. Yes, we know, at 40 you are not considered a senior, but on most other online dating sites you won’t see many people in this age range.

Most senior online dating sites allow you to post a personals ad for other like minded people to check out. Make sure you get a good share of profiles before you register with any of these dating sites. At the outset, you require an indirect contact system, so check on the security of the mail services in your selected dating service to be sure that you won’t be required to use your own email address to contact other members.

  • Kiara Covarrubias, Press Democrat:

This labyrinth of communication might seem confusing and unnecessary, but it is the way it is done these days, according to Petalumans Victoria Serrano, 19, Laura Flores, 18, and Alvin Barahona, 18. Attending Santa Rosa Junior College (Serrano) and San Francisco State University (Flores and Barahona), the three Casa Grande graduates are familiar with this new cyber romance.

This part makes me feel good:

“Relationships now are faster and fake; they are not sincere,” said Serrano. “Instead of actually smiling at someone, you have to send a colon and a closing parenthesis sign. I get excited when I get a nice text message from a guy, but I do not get butterflies like I would in person.”

It means that there is still no substitute for face to face interaction.

  • Pop Castro is not going to like this:

Over eight months their romance blossomed online, each subsequent exchange in chat rooms or via email becoming more passionate and sexually charged.

But like so many relationships forged in cyberspace, all was not as it seemed. Claudia Valencia was really a prankster in Miami named Luis Dominguez, whose public humiliation of the communist dictator’s Lothario son has caused much merriment among South Florida’s sizeable Cuban-American community.

Okay. So what happens now? The only thing I can figure is Pop forbids Junior to surf the net looking for a date and starts playing matchmaker.

Maybe Marla could help him out.
