But what is happening with the Pitino family as a result of the allegations and accusations is reaching disturbing proportions. He’s still going to be coaching in the fall.

She’s talking about their record breaking season 5 premiere. Since then the ratings have returned to normal. But you have to wonder if TLC (which incidentally stands for The Learning Channel) would be willing to put a positive spin for an obviously teachable moment.

If Kate and Jon have taught us anything, it’s that nobody becomes a truly big star until their marriage starts to fall apart.
Lack of communication is listed as one of the main causes for an unhappy marriage and even divorce. That’s really not unexpected. When you were a baby and weren’t able to communicate, what did you do? You cried and threw a tantrum until somebody figured out what your needs were. Now that you’re grown up that won’t work although it’s tried in some form by many spouses.
