It got pretty nasty. But finally Hulk Hogan and Linda Bollea decided they had enough.

The marriage did not even make it to the two year mark. Is it a surprise? Not to Usher’s fans:

A lot of people did not like them together from the very beginning,” said Natasha Eubanks, creator of The Young Black & Fabulous, a popular black celebrity gossip blog. “People didn’t know a lot about her so they wondered if she was some golddigger and where did she come from.”

Speculation that the couple was on the rocks had stirred for months.

It’s kind of ridiculous to form an opinion like that based on the fact “people didn’t know a lot about her” but it takes two to tango and Usher is a grown man who went into the relationship with his eyes open.

For a little while recording artist Usher and his manager were doing a good job of putting out the rumors. Things even appered to quite down for a spell.

Usher is leaving the one he’s with.

The Confessions artist proved the rumor mill right Friday as he went ahead and filed for divorce from his wife of nearly two years, Tameka Raymond.

Maybe it’s the pressure of being in the spotlight 24/7 or just living in a society where the divorce rate is very high but it sure seems like the majority of celebrity marriages  are going this route.

The Linda Bollea-Hulk Hogan divorce started out nasty and went downhill from there. The fact that Brooke Hogan has weighed in on the issue did not help matters (It seems Brook has also uninvited Linda to her birthday bash). But nothing says nasty like having security guards escort you to and from the courthouse.

Why is the soon to be ex Mrs Hogan concerned for her safety?
