It really comes down on which one is winning the media image battle. Right now imo Kate is out in front and starting to open up a big lead.

Tameka Foster-Raymond tells Upscale Magazine, “I understand where all the negativity comes from,” she told the magazine.

“Unfortunately I think that some black women are — subconsciously — not in love with the image they see in the mirror. Therefore in turn they do not love someone like me. I look too much like them.”

True many of Usher’s fans were neither surprised nor displeased when the singer announced the divorce. Natasha Eubanks runs  The Young Black & Fabulous blog: “A lot of people did not like them together from the very beginning. People didn’t know a lot about her so they wondered if she was some golddigger and where did she come from.”

Not to say that she deserved the negativity but its important to note that Usher’s fan base is not solely Black women and much of the hostility she faced came from more than one quarter.

Over time, it appears that the passion or thrill has decreased. We can restimulate and recreate the passion. Believe it or not, it’s more a matter of choice and intentionality.

That’s going to come as a surprise to many men regardless of whether they are students or have been in the workforce for eons.

You ever notice how some guys go to the bar dressed like scrubs and still manage to leave with a few numbers in hand? They are the guys that have learned that out of the million ways to attract women, your wallet isn’t the best method in your twenties.

Sure a college girl may notice that you have a Dolce & Gabana dress shirt on but it doesn’t mean that she will flock to you or go home with you.

You will not double your dating by buying the most expensive pair of Guess Jeans or a Hugo Boss dress shirt.

Yet so many try.

David Zurawik makes a prediction and it’s a good one.

But within that overarching stucture, here is the dominant storyline that I predict will develop: Kate will emerge as the responsible parent holding the home together for the kids and providing them with whatever fun and sense of joy we see them having.

I got that feeling also especially after this. Jon is walking right into a media image trap and you can bet that many of those people who were in his corner are going to turn on him in droves.

former tabloid reporter, Kate Major is going to tell the world on her romance with Jon & Kate Plus 8 star ‘Cheater’ Jon Gosselin.

Gosselin has vehemently denied Major’s claims and the time frame as well as pronouncement are suspect but check out the moniker attached to Gosselin.

It’s kind of ridiculous to form an opinion like that based on the fact “people didn’t know a lot about her” but it takes two to tango and Usher is a grown man who went into the relationship with his eyes open.
