Is the institution of marriage a thing of the past? Some people believe the answer is a resounding yes. Many discussions center on the alarming divorce rate which shows half of all marriages end in divorce. Other discussions concern whether it is even possible to be monogamous in a relationship.
All of this is before anyone even gets to the topic of infidelity in marriage. It seems that cheating on your significant other has gone from a bad thing to somewhat okay. For proof just look at some commercials where websites advertise that they will help you find someone to fool around with. We have come a long way as a society and for even more proof we are about to go a little further welcome to the Tiger Text.
Tiger Text is an iPhone application that according to the ANI news agency, “TigerText enables the sender to set a lifespan for the message. Once this ends, the app erases the text from both the sender’s and recipient’s phones.”
Paula Hall, a counselor for Relate Institute tells ANI, “For couples where infidelity is a possibility, this just makes cheating easier.”
You can add this to the computer programs that help a cheating spouse cover their online activities. Cyber infidelity is a real threat to marriages and many relationship experts believe we have not even scratched the surface when it comes to that.
Is help on the way? Kind of. It seems iPhone is playing both sides of the fence with the release of SpyApp. This iPhone application keeps track text messages, phone calls and GPS.
It’s high tech that sounds like something out of science fiction. Unfortunately in this day and age when it comes to catching a cheating spouse it still might not be enough.
