Dave Ferons had just moved to Austin from his native Pennsylvania when he met Leslie that day. He couldn’t find an outside outlet for his drill, so he knocked on her door. After an hour, he came back to disconnect his drill and wound up making a date with her.

One night a month later, when Dave picked Leslie up for a date, “there was something about his eyes, his demeanor, his way, and I fell in love with him that very minute. I knew I had to be with him,” she says
