You can add internet infidelity into the mix when it comes to way to cheat on your significant other. In poll after poll a majority of marriage partners admit to cheating on their spouse at least once. Internet infidelity gives them a whole new field to play on.
While cyberspace is not new the growth of websites that actively encourage and prosper from internet infidelity is a recent phenomenon.
But it is not just the extramarital websites that are causing a problem. The very nature of the internet is making it more difficult to catch a cheating spouse.
Still it is not completely impossible to track internet infidelity. Like anything else there are signs to look for.
1. Time Spent
Internet infidelity may be more readily available and faster to access than offline infidelity but it still requires time. So to carry on with their cyber partner means that it is necessary for them to spend more time with them and less with you. They could be brazen and chat with the other person while you are in the same room but they will probably not want to take a chance like that. So they need privacy.
2. Cover Up
Unless they are totally absent minded or just do not care (in which case you would have found out a long time ago) they are going to do everything within their power their activities hidden. Therefore investigate whether or not they are password protecting the computer and/or erasing the browser history. If they get a new computer this should definite raise some red flags. Considering they were the primary user on the old one.
3. Changes
This is one that encompasses internet infidelity as well as the offline world. While it may not include things like changing their appearance it may mean change in the way they deal with you and anyone else within the household. It could be their attitude about doing some of the normal day to day family responsibilities. Or a growing emotional distance between the two of you.
