How To Flirt Effectively Using Boring Questions
No Comments
I’ve heard many times that you’re not supposed to ask the “typical questions” when flirting, and that it can make you seem boring to the girl.I have a different view. I think you can use ordinary boring conversational topics to your advantage, if you do it right. And I’ll teach you how to do it right.
Which “typical” questions are at issue here?
What do you do?
Are you in school?
How old are your children?
Do you live around here?
Of course you don’t want to ask question after question like this, or she’ll feel like she’s on a job interview. But there’s a right way to go about asking these questions and still flirt well.
Here’s the key principle:
ORDINARY QUESTION FLIRTING PRINCIPLE: When you ask an “ordinary question”, make sure you PLAY with her response.
I will often, very early in the conversation, ask a woman what she does for a living, or, ifshe’s in school, I’ll ask her what she’s studying.
And then, I play with her answer.
It goes something like this:
If she says she walks dogs for a living, I’ll say “Shoot, I was going to bring my dog to the coffee shop today, but decided not to. You would have totally walked my dog all over the coffee shop, right?”
She laughs. She feels like you value her for something other than her looks. And you frame the interaction as one of her being ready to SERVE you in some way.
It’s fun, it’s fresh, and you can use it all the time.
Take this approach for a spin. Use it on women you’re interested in, and even one’s you’re not interested in. It doesn’t hurt to get the practice in, and put a smile on someone’s face.
I even use it with little old ladies. “My goodness, I can tell, if you were my Grandma, you would totally bake me cookies every day, even though my mommy told you not to.” They all love it!
