First Date Tips for Men
1 Comment
Taking a woman to dinner, acting too nice, and being on your most polite behavior ever is NOT the best strategy for a first date. There’s no cause for alarm here.
Sure, that kind of advice might be great for making new friends, but the rules for dating operate extremely differently. Instead, the aim should be on making a woman feel attracted to you. And so if you wish to succeed, you’ll need to make a few changes.

These 5 first date secrets will help you make a fresh and positive impression:
1) Give Dinner A Miss
Learn this lesson well. You need to make sure the first date is enjoyable and fun. Do this and she won’t be able to get you out of her head.
So do yourself and favor and go with a dating experience that has ‘fun’ already built into it. More often than not, heading out for dinner is a terrible idea for a first date. For a start, if the restaurant is empty, then the atmosphere is often stale and dull. And plus you might really dislike each other, and sit through three courses of painful conversation.
And that’s no fun, is it?.
But you can avoid all that by following these first date tips. For example, play a game of pool, meet for a chat over coffee, or head out to a party together, where the atmosphere will be more lively.
2) Stop Trying To “Buy” Her
Avoid showing up with flowers or chocolates (or any other gift) for the first date. It might seem harmless, but a gift subtly communicates you have low self-esteem, need to ‘buy’ her attention, and aren’t worthy of her time if you show up empty-handed.
Never do that again.
There is no need whatsoever to give her chocolates or flowers, because you have zero to prove to her. Simply show up ready to have fun and enjoy yourself.

3) You Don’t Need to “Impress”
Remember, the first date is not about impressing her. It can be neatly summed up by a psychological principle called “The Law of Reversed Effect”. And all this means is that if you put yourself under a ton of pressure to impress a woman, you’ll probably mess things up.
To tell the truth, just be as relaxed as you can and quit putting pressure on yourself.
4) You’re Not “Walking On Egg Shells”
Similar to the point made above, most guys try much too hard to earn a woman’s approval. Guys try and please girls by acting overly nice, and only saying stuff they think women want to hear.
Never do this ever gain.
You come across as lame and uninteresting if you concentrate on not offending her. Hardly very appealing to women. You’ll make a much better impression by showing a willingness to lead the conversation with confidence.
5) End A First Date ‘Early’
A little explaining is required for this last piece of advice. Particularly if the first date has been a success. Bottom line, it’s best to end a first date when it feels a little ‘too soon’.
Why end the date ‘early’?
Because this is the best way to guarantee a second date. She’ll won’t feel like she’s had enough, and she’ll be very eager to meet up with you and pick up where you left things on the first date.
Take these tips, use them on your next first date, and enjoy the great results they bring!
