Do You Know If Your Fiance Is A Scammer?

[I:http://winthemarket.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/ArtSaborio0.jpg] This is something that you have probably heard a number of times, never send money to your fiance if you have not met her. Meet her many times before trusting her with any of your personal information or money.
Marrying someone from another country is stressful enough, yet you must understand she will need to see your entire life. This includes bank accounts, tax returns etc. She will need to carry and present these kinds of documents to the embassy officer during her interview. So make sure you trust this person fully.
There are thousands of horror stories about dating someone from another country. All you need to do is type in a Google search for Blacklisted Russian Woman or Blacklisted Ukrainian Woman and you will find thousands of stories and article on this one topic.
What does Blacklisted Russian Women or Blacklisted Ukrainian Women mean? It means a woman from a country other than the USA has been reported as scamming men for money or American Visas.
What are the signs of a scammer?
A scammer will have an immediate attraction to you. She will often immediately start using words like, I love you or lead you to believe she is ready to marry you. Women that do this are great at making you feel like you are the only man for them. Yet in reality they are speaking to others.
Talking to many men at one time increases their chances of making a lot of money in the shortest amount of time.
Ask yourself this question. If you met someone for the first time here in the USA and she started to tell you within the first few days of meeting you that she loved you, would you feel comfortable? Most people would say no. So why would someone from another country make you feel any different? You have not met her and you do not really know her true intentions.
A major red flag is the girl wanting to come visit you in the USA. These girls are not dumb. They know the laws better than you do. They know that it is impossible for them to come to the USA for just a visit. All she wants is for you to send her the money to pay for a visa that does not exist. She gets the money and you get scammed. If you are not sure of this, then just pick up the phone and call the USCIS 1-800-375-5283. They will be happy to explain the laws to you.
Just a side note: I tried this myself when I was dating my Ukrainian Fiance. I tried to get her a B-2 tourist visa and was immediately denied. I worked hard on preparing the visa documents and sent all the right information. Yet, she was still denied. So dont try it, it is a waste of your time and money.
If there is any mention of money after meeting or within the first two months, it is time to walk away. A high percentage of these women that ask for money are scammers. If she starts to talk to you like this, just tell her you dont want to talk about money until after you meet her. Most of the time the girl will go away on her own and stop communication with you. You are no longer the right kind of prey. So she starts to focus her words on other opportunities.
Now it is hard to know for sure, but often times the pictures she sends you are not really her. They can be anyone. You really do not know if that is the true person behind the picture. I have heard stories where the person behind the picture was a guy.
These people have a very limited time to get as much money out of you as possible before you find out about them or before someone else reports them.
What happens after you send them money? They completely disappear. You never hear from them and you will never see your money again. No one will investigate your claims and no one will care. The typical method of sending money is through Western Union. All these scammers know the ins and outs of Western Union.
Remember this is not the USA this is another country and corruption is the name of the game.
Now these girls are really good at what they do. They will have a story for all your questions. Dont think it will be easy to catch them at their game. Some will even call you multiple times a week to convince you they are real.
To summarize, make sure you meet your fiance many times before trusting her with your money or personal information. One mistake can cost you a lifetime of grief. Keep in mind that although your girl might be showing these signs of being a scammer, she might be legitimate. In my next article I will show you how to know for sure if she is real or not.
