Why is THAT!?? WARNING- RANT!

The first love of my life, well call her Maggie, was a woman that I opened myself to fully. Amazing woman. Full of feminine energy and spunk. A great dancer. In fact, I learned to swing dance just so I could be with her…and I recommend all men learn to swing dance… Because of what I thought were mitigating circumstances at the time, we broke up. Two months later…shes engaged. Talk about a heart break.

Of those 10,000 online dating service profiles, no more than a dozen captured my attention enough to make the first move. Im sure that you want to get lots of responses to your online dating service advertisement, or else why would you bother joining a site, and paying a small fee to meet new people? As an avid connoisseur of all things relationships related, (or so I like to believe), it strikes me as odd that two of my close friends are currently ensconced in unions that I’m completely baffled by. While I would describe them both as “casual dalliances”, (after all they’ve only just met the guys and both never seems to call when they say they will), my girlfriends prefer to term their flings as “intense relationships with a guy they’re hoping will propose sometime soon”.
