It is being reported that a certain celebrity has been cheating on their significant other with a co-star they worked with on an upcoming movie. Since infidelity is being treated in many quarters as some kind of acceptable fashion, news of this variety really does not raise a whole lot of eyebrows.

No one wants to find out that the person they promised to love and honor through good times and bad is having an extramarital affair. The news itself is devastating enough but on top of that there is a process which has to be endured in order to untangle this whole trauma and begin the recovery process.
On paper marriage is an equal partnership. Both parties bring something unique to the relationship. They learn from each other and grow together as a couple as well as individuals. In the real world it does not always work that way.
There have been more than a few cases where one spouse either never discovers their spouse is being unfaithful or finds out way too late. Why? More than likely it is a philandering spouse’s ability to cover their tracks. By maintaining the illusion of normalcy they are able to keep their significant other from getting suspicious.
For Jenny Sanford enough was enough. By all accounts she had given her husband Mark Sanford ample time to get his act together and help her to save the marriage. It didn’t work and she was granted a divorce from the South Carolina Governor whose infidelity made national headlines.
Every marriage has its share of ups and down but few are as devastating as finding out that your spouse was carrying on an extramarital affair. You just cannot bring yourself to believe this person you trusted and promised to share your life with would do something so dreadful.
If your sixth sense, or intuition feels like you are living with a cheating husband, then more often than not, you are. But is that enough to go by? Enough for you to fling accusations hoping that one will stick?
