You pull on all the charm, intelligence, and wit you have at your disposal in an attempt to make sure the first things that potential dates learn about you are the best possible things. Then why is it that so often people cant seem to take that same careful consideration and verbal editing when it comes to actual physical dating?

He managed to steal billions and keep it secret for decades.  So it probably comes as no surprise that he was hiding other things.

I don’t know about the timing but I guess her philosophy is if this crook has taken everyone to the cleaners then at least get something out of it.

That was a prediction media critic David Zurawik made sometime back. If the interview Kate Gosselin gave on Larry King this week is any indication then I’d say the wheels are in motion.

Back in June, Veronica Lario the soon to be ex wife of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi wrote:

“The decision by myself and my lawyer to handle the separation with grace is bothering, for reasons I don’t understand, people who should have no interest in the issue, and who certainly have no right to publicly pass judgment on the subject”

She was of course criticizing the glutton of media attention. I can understand her POV  but at the time I wrote that “Any leader that has a divorce while in office is going to draw an intense media spotlight.” My question is does she really think it will go away after this:

The estranged wife of Premier Silvio Berlusconi says in a book published Wednesday that it was her husband’s alleged lies that pushed her to file for divorce at the outset of the sex scandal involving the Italian conservative leader.

In the book, Veronica Lario recalls how in April she made the decision after her husband failed to mention he would attend the birthday party of an 18-year-old model in Naples, telling her only about his official business in the southern city.

She wrote a book and they are still not officially divorced yet. This was only two months after her criticism of “people who should have no interest in the issue”. So when such a person happens to be browsing the bookstore and curiously picks up Lario’s book, is there a foreward telling them to mind their own business.

Can’t have it both ways.

This probably qualifies.
